Stockholm offers hundreds of wonderful places to enjoy a view over the city.
My favourite is to sit on Monteliusvägen when the sun goes down.
But there are also some not well known places to recommend. One of them is the Västerbro, the bridge from Södermalm over Langholmen to Kungsholmen.
It surely is not a homey place, but worth to visit to take pictures.
The best way to cross the bridge is in direction Södermalm-Kungsholmen.
In the middle of the bridge you will pass a bunch of love.
For the lazy and quick version to cross the bridge, take a bus.
The lines 4, 40, 77 and 94 drive over the bridge.
Next metro stations are “Hornstull” on Södermalm and “Fridhemsplan” on Kungsholmen.
At Fridhemsplan you may change to one of the four bus lines and cross the bridge the whole day until you shot an unwiggly foto. 😉
But as the balustrade has been raised a short time ago to stop suicides, it’s really preferable to take a walk from Södermalm and enjoy a stress- and fence-free view!
