After some weeks in the beautiful capital of Sweden even I need a day on the countryside.
Luckily the countryside is not far from the center of Stockholm.
Swedes will not call it countryside yet.
But for a girl grown up in the Ruhrgebiet, the most crowded area of Germany and having lived in huge cities ever since, it’s kind of hardcore-countryside already.
Luckily my Swedish friend knows all the nice places not written in the standard city-guides, so this recommendation might be new for you, too.
Our goal was Långängens Gård
When I saw the red house I immediately wanted to move in there!
I hardly could decide what was best: the house, the flowers, the cakes, the garden, the silence or the fresh air. I think it was all, so I spent the next hours repeating the same sentences, all beginning with: “Vad fint.. vad vacker.. gud, vad underbart!”
I would like to emphasize that I resisted this here.
Call me heroine!
My poor friend showed a lot of patience with my enthusiasm.
But I think she was quite happy when I finally got something to eat to fill my mouth.
This vegetarian burger was delicious!
And it tasted even better under the blue sky and with a light breeze.
And what do two ladies if they have feasted extensively?
Exactly: they follow their bad conscience and march through the pampas.
Highly recommended!
